To participate in online counseling, you must be a resident of one of the states we are licensed in and be physically in that state during your sessions. This means that even if you’re a resident, you can’t participate from out of state while traveling. Before your first session, we’ll ensure you’re a good fit through a brief screening process, either through questions or pre-session forms. To avoid disruptions, you’ll need a reliable internet connection and basic tech skills. If tech issues arise, we can switch to phone sessions as a backup. Ensure you’re in a secure, distraction-free environment where confidentiality is maintained. If interruptions occur, we’ll pause until privacy is restored. Recording online sessions is prohibited without prior consent from both parties.
